Through hands-on instruction, they will learn how to create organic, sculptural forms such as bowls, cups, and tea vessels. Ideal for both beginners and intermediate potters, this workshop emphasizes creative expression and the natural textures that emerge from the carving process.

Interested in how traditional stained glass windows were made? Learn to create your own unique stained glass window with Kristin J. Harsma, a local stained glass artist, using the copper foil method. You will learn the complete process of making a small stained glass window starting with choosing a pattern, cutting the glass, foiling and finally soldering to complete the work. Other interesting and important highlights will include tips and safety precautions. You will pick 1 of 5 provided patterns, all designed by Kristin, or bring your own (no bigger than 10x10 inches for beginners) Class price covers all supplies and shared tools such as glass grinders and soldering irons. You are welcome to choose from our scrap glass or purchase your own. Class is 6 sessions.
