90 Minute Try It Wheel Ceramics -Friday Evenings with Aldo or Amanda, Various Dates, 6:30pm-8:00pm
In this introductory workshop, students will get 90 mins of pottery fun. Not sure about 6 week class? Try it out first! All clay, tools and instruction included. At end of 90 mins, you will have your raw pottery project to take with you or you can have it bisque fired for $10 or Bisque and Glazed fired for $30 (to pick up at later date).

MIG Welding - Wednesday Evenings with Courtni, 03/12-04/16, 6:00pm-8:00pm
In this class you will learn the basic fundamentals of welding, the tools involved, and how to properly use them. We will be learning MIG welding, a popular and widely used technique when working with steel. This is a hands-on class where you will learn skills to complete your own personal project from start to finish, including design, cutting, tack welds, and running a bead, as well as grinding and finishing. This class is perfect for artists or hobbyists that want to see how the creative welding process works while gaining confidence to explore the beautiful art of welding. Intro to stained Glass - Sunday Afternoons with Kristin, 03/09-04/13, 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Interested in how traditional stained glass windows were made? Learn to create your own unique stained glass window with Kristin J. Harsma, a local stained glass artist, using the copper foil method. You will learn the complete process of making a small stained glass window starting with choosing a pattern, cutting the glass, foiling and finally soldering to complete the work. Other interesting and important highlights will include tips and safety precautions. You will pick 1 of 5 provided patterns, all designed by Kristin, or bring your own (no bigger than 10x10 inches for beginners) Class price covers all supplies and shared tools such as glass grinders and soldering irons. You are welcome to choose from our scrap glass or purchase your own. Class is 6 sessions.

Raku - Saturday Mornings (Melinda & Mike)
Meet, Mingle and Make Fire! We have 2 small Raku kilns that we will keep running as long as we have items to fire. We will start in the morning (rain or shine!), unless a burn ban is in effect.

Painting with Acrylics and Mixed Media (Thursday Afternoons with Joanne, 2:00pm-4:00pm)
Join me as we explore the exciting world of mixed-media painting!
Students will try essential techniques such as:
Collage & Stencils: Learn how to incorporate printed photos or illustrations into your artwork seamlessly - adhering, sealing, and blending images into your textured surface.
Creating 3D Textures: Discover how to use Crackle and Molding Pastes to build rich, dynamic textures that bring your painting to life and create different effects.
Painting with Acrylics: We will explore the basics of acrylics including materials, surfaces, brushes and other tools, and then a little about color theory, color mixing and composition.
This fun class is for everyone, from beginners to those who have painted before or former students who want to continue creating. Each student has the freedom to pick all the techniques or just one; it is a personal journey of individual expression!
Some supplies are included and an optional Materials List will be given out on the first day of class.

Students with some experience are also welcome to improve their skills and be guided to try larger or more complex forms and/or hand-altered pieces. All students will learn how to glaze/decorate their finished work. New to beginner students welcome—no previous wheel-throwing experience necessary. (Material fee includes Clay, Firings and Glaze)

Wheel Ceramics (Sunday Mornings with Amanda, 10:00am-1:00pm)

Bezel Setting Cabochons (Single Session Workshop)
This Beginning/Intermediate class is for those with basic jewelry soldering skills who want to add a new skill or perfect their setting technique. Bezel settings are extremely versatile and perfect for capturing any flat back stone. In this class students will choose from a variety of cabochons and learn how to build a basic bezel setting with fine and sterling silver. You’ll leave class with a bezel set pendant and the skills to make more on your own.
