Intermediate Stained Glass - Monday Afternoons w/ Kristin, 04/21-05/26, 2:00-5:00pm
Want to continue to perfect your stained glass skills? In this 6 session class, you will have the freedom to create your own pattern and perfect your cutting and soldering technique to create your own unique stained glass window of any size.
We will discuss everyone’s project plans in detail during the first class. Come to class prepared with an idea of what you would like to create. You can prepare your pattern out on paper or digitally. If you like to design a pattern digitally, bring a laptop to the first class.
You will have access to Burkhead Art Center’s stained glass tools and equipment but will need to purchase stained glass and other consumables, some of which are available to purchase onsite.
Class and materials fees cover the use of shared tools such as glass grinders, soldering irons and basic materials. You will need to purchase glass, solder, copper foil, and caming appropriate for your chosen project.
